LET’S DRIVE SOME TRAFFIC!

Website Indexing

When your website goes live for the first time Google does not necessarily know this right away. It takes time for them to crawl and properly index your website by its name in their search engines. Don’t expect to be able to find your website in the first couple days. In our experience Google will index your website anywhere from 1 week to 30 days. We will advise Google of the new website but ultimately it is out of our control. Unique names typically index faster then more generic. It’s important to stay patient as the indexing will happen.

GOOGLE BUSINESS LISTING

When your website first goes live it is wise to set up the Google My Business Listing.
This will let Google know who you are and where you are located. It will also expedite the indexing of your website.

GOOGLE Analytics

It is important to track the traffic of your website. Go to Google Analytics and set up an account. Provide WEBSHARK the tracking code and we will inject properly on your website so you can start tracking your traffic. You will need Google Analytics if you are to engage in any SEO or online marketing activities in the future.

Local SEO & Paid Ads

A common misconception about websites is that the second it goes live people will find it right away by searching key terms that relate to your business. This is not true. In most cases if you want your website to rank among the first page of Google for terms that describe your business you will need to invest in ongoing Local SEO services or a Paid Ad Campaign. Webshark provides both services. For more information please send a note to
